IBX Services' Client Appreciation Gala at The Eglinton Grand for the third year running, and the third different look in the same room.
This time the projection filled the whole proscenium: "IBX Services" between maple leaves, with the company's web address beneath. Later in the evening the wall changed to two yellow moons on a field of gold stars, with red accents in the ceiling coves.
The biggest lighting cue of the night was a blackout. With the room dark and only the IBX logo on the screen, a troupe of four dancers in LED light suits performed on the dance floor. A duo on white aerial silks flew either side of the stage, a string duo played in the foyer, and a live band closed the night.
The speeches came from a podium with twin gooseneck microphones in front of a prize table stacked with televisions for the draw.
