What we supply

Sound, picture and the systems that tie them together, sized for a boardroom or a ballroom:

  • Audio: analog and digital mixing consoles, sound systems for small rooms and large venues, indoor and outdoor speaker arrays, and wireless handheld, lavalier and headset microphones.
  • Video: projectors and screens — tripod, fast-fold and truss-frame, front or rear projection — LED video walls, TVs and confidence monitors, media servers, broadcast switchers, scalers and converters.
  • Capture: camera packages, video recording and playback, and editing after the event.
  • Interactive: touch screens, interactive video walls, and 2D and 3D projection mapping.

The same equipment we run on our own shows

We rent the equipment we use on our own productions, not a separate fleet kept for rentals. Two members of the team are responsible for everything that goes out and everything that comes back: each piece is inspected and tested before it leaves for an event, and again when it returns. On site, any rented system takes one to two hours to set up and test before it is handed over.

Rental, or a full production

Some clients need a projector and a screen for an afternoon; others need a sound system, cameras and operators for a three-day conference. Both are ordinary work for us.

  • Rental only. Tell us the date, the venue, the times, and whether you will pick up or want it delivered. A week's notice is best, but if the event is at least 24 hours away we can usually still help. Some of the higher-end equipment only goes out with one of our technicians, and we will say so up front.
  • Full production. We design the system around the room and the audience, bring it in, run it through the show, and take it away afterwards.

Where it has worked

At The Eglinton Grand, IBX Services' Client Appreciation Gala ran on our audio and projection three years in a row: speeches from the podium, a full live band, and the client's logo projected across the proscenium. At Château Le Jardin in Woodbridge, the ACE Gala 2017 had speakers stacked either side of the stage, floor monitors for the performers and a projection screen framed in black drape. And at Vantage Venues on King Street West, our cameras, wireless microphones and mixing console carried UHN's research day to presenters and viewers who were never in the room.

Getting your content ready

Build slides at 16:9, tell us about any unusual fonts or embedded video, and send the final files a few days before the event. Bring a copy on a USB stick as well, as a backup.

Audio Visual questions

Can I rent AV equipment without a technician?
Yes. Most equipment can be rented on its own, picked up from us or delivered. Some higher-end equipment only goes out with one of our technicians, and we will tell you when that applies.
How much notice do you need for a rental?
A week is best. If your event is at least 24 hours away, call anyway: we can often still help.
Is rental equipment tested before it goes out?
Yes. Two members of our team inspect and test every piece before it leaves and again when it comes back, and it is the same equipment we use on our own productions.
What format should my presentation be in?
16:9, with any unusual fonts or embedded videos flagged ahead of time. Send the final files a few days before the event and bring a backup copy.
What can I rent from you?
Screens, projectors, cameras, microphones, laptops, LED displays and PA systems, as well as lighting, staging and décor.
